The Apparel Technical Coordinator - Japanese Speaker role combines quality control, garment pattern coordination, and communication between manufacturing teams in Vietnam and pattern-making specialists in Japan. The position supports accurate product development and production by ensuring finished garments meet approved patterns, specification sheets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Interpret specification sheets and coordinate the development of garment patterns and production processes
Verify finished garments against approved patterns and specification sheets to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards
Communicate and coordinate with Japanese-speaking pattern-making specialists
Act as a liaison between the team in Japan and manufacturing factories in Vietnam
Report directly to the Japanese-speaking director
Requirements
Ability to communicate and correspond by email in Japanese
Experience in quality control within the garment or fashion industry
At least 5 years of experience working with woven garment products
Experience with premium or high-end fashion products will be an advantage
