The Senior Network System Engineer role maintains stable, secure, and high-quality IT environments for customers. Working on site in an international environment, the position handles complex technical incidents, supports junior engineers, and offers a pathway towards a Maintenance Team Leader position.
Responsibilities
Maintain stable, secure, and high-quality customer IT environments
Handle complex incidents and conduct root cause analysis
Support customers as a key technical contact
Mentor junior engineers and improve maintenance procedures and documentation
Coordinate team tasks and gradually assume responsibility for team management and quality control
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in IT maintenance and operations
Strong knowledge of networking, security, Microsoft platforms, Microsoft Azure, virtualisation, storage, and backup solutions
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, Dell EMC, IBM, or Nutanix solutions
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Good English communication skills
A reliable and proactive approach with leadership capabilities
IT certifications and Japanese language skills will be an advantage
