A company in the Software Products and Web Services industry is hiring for a Project Manager (Japanese Market, C#) position.
Job Description
Lead project planning activities, including scope definition, WBS creation, budgeting, timeline management, resource allocation, and execution oversight.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams of 10+ members, including Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure Engineers, ensuring effective performance and workload distribution.
Monitor project schedules, manage risks and issues, handle requirement changes, facilitate project meetings, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Define quality standards and acceptance criteria, oversee testing plans, control defects, and supervise release processes to ensure successful delivery.
Collaborate closely with clients to gather and clarify requirements, align on solutions, manage project scope, and maintain stakeholder expectations.
Participate in technical discussions, solution and architecture reviews, and support key technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies, standardize project processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Web or Application development.
Strong technical experience with one or more of the following technology stacks:
C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework
JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js
PHP or other related web technologies
At least 1 year of experience as a Project Manager, including management of teams with 10 or more members and responsibility for project quality, schedule, and customer requirements.
Good understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including SQL development and basic query optimization.
Knowledge of AWS and core cloud services for infrastructure coordination and deployment support.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to understand business requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, planning, presentation, documentation, and risk management skills.
Experience working with DevOps practices is an advantage.
Japanese communication skills at JLPT N3 level or above are preferred.
Experience working with Japanese clients is highly preferred.
