Key Responsibilities
Align all activities with corporate strategy and business plans; collaborate with management to define production goals, establish the production system, and prepare annual production plans and budgets.
Oversee production, technology, on-site management, and workplace safety and health compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in production technology and product quality; work closely with AP Group managers and engineers to facilitate smooth product transfers.
Manage the scheduling, implementation, and monitoring of production plans; control material balance, reduce costs, optimise key production process steps, and improve capacity, yield, and scrap rates.
Coordinate resources and stakeholders across the production process; establish effective communication mechanisms between production and all other departments.
Meet departmental KPIs; ensure full ISO 13485 QMS compliance and effective ERP application; manage department budget and expenditure within planned parameters.
Lead, guide, train, and evaluate employees; create a motivating work environment that drives efficiency and performance.
Provide professional support to internal teams and external partners; collaborate closely with all stakeholders to continuously improve existing systems.
Attend weekly meetings and present department activities and results.
Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors in a timely manner.
Requirements
Education — Bachelor’s degree or above; minimum 5 years of production management experience, preferably in an SME-scale or high-tech manufacturing environment; ERP knowledge is an advantage
Experience — Extensive background in production management and cost control; proficient in multiple assembly processes, 5S, GMP, WSH, and operations management
Skills — Strong data-driven decision-making capability; effective leadership, organisation, coordination, communication, and execution skills
Personality — Excellent professional ethics, strong personal integrity, and a high degree of professionalism; ability to plan holistically and follow through on execution
Language — Strong command of spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is preferred for internal communication purposes
