The Power System Operator role supports the safe, economical, and effective operation of electrical infrastructure at an industrial park in Dong Nai City. Working 12-hour shifts, the position monitors, operates, and troubleshoots 22 kV power, street-lighting, generator, and solar systems. A shuttle bus service from Ho Chi Minh City is provided.
Responsibilities
Monitor and operate electrical systems during the assigned shift and troubleshoot the industrial park’s 22 kV power and street-lighting systems
Maintain electrical assets and tools while monitoring the safe, economical, and effective use of electric power
Hand over electrical assets, system conditions, and outstanding work to the next shift at the end of each assigned shift
Inspect electrical systems and report operational conditions and unusual findings to the shift leader or General Manager (GM)
Recommend appropriate corrective plans and follow up on work related to the assigned shift
Operate the 22 kV electrical system, generators, and solar power system
Requirements
Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
1–2 years of experience in power system operations
Ability to supervise and operate electrical equipment
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to work
