As a Japanese-speaking Associate, the successful candidate will act as a vital information bridge between global decision-makers and specialised industry experts. The role involves understanding clients’ knowledge gaps, identifying and engaging senior industry professionals, and arranging exclusive consultation interviews. Responsibilities
Deconstructing Briefs: Analyse complex client needs to identify knowledge gaps and determine the exact industry insights required
High-Level Headhunting: Conduct in-depth profile research using LinkedIn and global professional networks to identify top-tier industry leaders
Cold Outreach & Persuasion: Initiate conversations via phone and email to pitch projects and persuade relevant experts to participate in consultations
End-to-End Project Management: Own the final step, from matching vetted experts with clients and coordinating schedules across international time zones to ensuring every client interaction runs seamlessly
Requirements
Multilingual Fluency: Fluency in Japanese at JLPT N1, JLPT N2, or native level, together with fluent or business-level English
Sales & KPI Drive: A results-oriented mindset, demonstrated through previous internships, demanding university projects, extracurricular achievements, or professional experience
Resilience: A growth mindset that views cold outreach and rejection as opportunities to sharpen negotiation skills
